BioMy name is Anna (really, i dont just say that because im 'ana'). and im a 19 year old college student. i have had an ED for about 3 years. i went into highschool naturally VERY thin, i was 5'4 (im 5'5 now) and i weighed 98 pounds and never worried about my weight, i even wanted to gain weight. i started dating dating my current boyfriend at the beginning of my sophmore year and in his big Spanish family, FOOD IS EVERYTHING. i put on over 20 pounds and my mom and even my boyfriend were dropping hints that i needed to lose a little weight. i restricted healthfully (about 800-1000 cals) and got down to 105 pounds. i began to suffer from depression and anxiety after a surgery and started cutting and i gained back a lot of weight and i was 115. that was when my ED started with the constant gaining and losing and i purged on occasion as well. i have passed my goal weight of 105 and this journal is basically just an outlet for me to express myself because no one knows about my ED and i hate that i have no one to talk to about it. a lot of girls i have met on here in the past few months are so nice and understanding and it makes me feel good to know that i am not alone. i really love you girls so much! i know a lot of what i write is pointless, but i dont care because im going to say it anyway. if you have negative things to say, fuck off, other than that i am very accepting and non judging of people and always love meeting new friends on here.
